Of the 8 races not involving 2 year olds I have so far only heard the names Better Talk Now and Midnight Lute as horses planning to return next year. I'm absolutely sure there are many more but the number of those who are not is once more staggering. Still, a great day of racing and I cant wait to see the Juvenile winners stretch out as three year olds. I wish every Saturday was Breeder's Cup Day.
It should be noted that I came home with a crowd pleasing, stop the presses, breaking-the-bank $4 from a total of $80 of Breeder's Cup bets and saw my 3 "locks" soundly beaten. A couple more days like that and I know some folks going home empty handed come Christmas. If you're wondering if that means you then it probably does.
