Got to love the horse industry. My reign as horse owner lasted a quick minute and 11 seconds down the tilt-a-whirl that is Gulfstream Park today. Personal Good hung right off the lead until the far turn where he faded back to finish 5th. Perhaps he'd already heard the news that he was claimed, off to another stall in another barn, to race another day under another set of silks. Perhaps he was just tired.
Either way I wish you the best of luck Mr. Good. I'll keep an eye out for you in upcoming races. In the mean time I'll be here, checking out the mid level claimers, waiting to be taken back up to the summit so that I can go screaming down the ride again.
